A handy checklist

For all of our guests:
  • Attire: Make sure you are prepared for rain, or shine. The weather at Moon Lake is very unpredictable - one minute it is hot and sunny, the next it will be raining. We will have a large event tent to protect us from the elements during the reception.
  • Shoes: Bring comfortable shoes. There really isn't any smooth surface, so ladies, I wouldn't wear heels. If you have rubber boots bring them in case the ground is muddy.
  • Umbrella
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Fishing poles and licenses if you want to fish

For those of you who are staying in the cabins at Moon Lake:

The cabins at Moon Lake are very rustic. When preparing imagine that you will be camping. The cabins are equipped with beds, showers, toilets, refrigerators, and a stove and oven, but there are some things that you will need to bring yourselves.
  • Bedding - sheets, blankets, pillows, sleeping bags. The cabins are heated, but they still get a little bit cold in the evenings.
  • Kitchen supplies - bring what you will need to cook and eat the meals that you prepare
  • Towels
  • Dish soap
  • Personal toiletries
  • Toilet paper
There is a small store at the lodge that has some food and other items if you need something, but it is very small and the selection is limited.
